Micah's Birthday

2014 Pics from Micah's Birthday
(with his friends, Lex and James)

Spring 2014

We have a tradition of our kids making their own Easter baskets out of old milk jugs.

Order from left to right of who made which basket:
(Chandler, Miriam, Micah, and Kaylee)
Spring up at the duck pond always means new little ducklings and turtles.

(Pictures from March or April 2014)

I was teaching the kids about cell division and Miriam drew this
imagining what it might be like if people could divide like cells.

Micah wanted to destroy a couple of old Hot Wheels
and create what he called Zombie Alley

Micah pretending he's a turtle living inside his shell.
He spent most of the afternoon there.

Kaylee with her best friend Leah making use of the boxes
before it was time to send them to recycling.

Micah pretending to be a pirate

Miriam made this paper "temple" with fountains and a little couple getting married.

Color Fest

Took my three younger kids & a couple of their friends
to the Color Festival in Spanish Fork
(March 2014)

My head isn't in this picture.... just imagine "Jack the Pumpkin."

Waiting for the day...

(February or March 2014)

In December 2010 a fire completely gutted our Provo Tabernacle.
The following year in October, President Monson announced it would be made into a temple.
We were all crying tears of joy.  We can't wait for the day to see this beautiful building not only restored but transformed into something far more beautiful and sacred.

Caught Off Guard

(February 2014)

I will treasure this forever.
I caught Micah singing "I'm Trying to be Like Jesus" in the bathroom at the top of his lungs.  Completely priceless!!

Order Up!! (January pics 2014)

Welcome to the Rawlins family.  Can I take your order?

Um... Yes, I'd like a full serving of spontaneity, sprinkled with a little insanity... wait, make that a lot of insanity.... and um... a side of splitting laughter topped with imagination, and a diluted drink.

..Will that be all?

Um... Could you make that to go?
