Backyard Safari

My oldest son got a matching "Backyard Safari" vest so he and his good friend could go on "adventures" together. Perfect gift for a boy!
Not sure about the shorts with winter boots... but? I guess that's also a boy for ya! ;)

Scouts

My oldest loves being a scout. This is him with one of his best friends. They get along great together. I'm very pleased because his friend comes from a wonderful family and is a really good kid.

My good friend, Meher, is from India. She gave me this pujabi. Now I have a Sari and a Punjabi. Tonight I made her recipe for curry. She's such an awesome friend.

M*'s Birthday

It was M*'s birthday last month and these are some fun pictures.

My friend Meher brought her daughters Lamis and Arub. She made the birthday cake, isn't that so nice!! I usually make my kids own cakes but Meher wanted to do it for me, how cool.

Meher made this card too. Lamis and Arub decorated the cookie. I think they did a fantastic job!

Mongolian Grandmother

This is my neighbor, Beumpa (I'm not sure how to spell her name). She doesn't speak english and I don't speak Mongol... but we still have a great friendship even though we don't understand each other's language. She is so wonderful. She has no grandchildren of her own but if you saw the way she treats my kids you'd think they were hers. I love her!!

Best Friends

MJ loves to play with our neighbor, Yarro. They love each other so much! It's adorable.

M* loves to be a princess of course. This is her and one of her best friends Lamis.

One of C*'s best friends is Nathan, in his second grade class. C* says he likes Nathan because he is so goofy and funny... who is more goofy... I wonder?

C* wanted to dress up for his valentines party in his class. (I think he wanted to look nice for the girls.)
