My oldest was sitting in the backseat of the car when we were driving past the Science building where daddy studies.
This cute little 7yr. old said, "Guess what mommy?"
"What?" I asked
"Nothing is faster than the speed of sound."
"Really?" I said
He thought for a minute and then said, "Well nothing is faster than the speed of sound EXCEPT for God's blessings."
I just wanted to make a blog where my kids could come and listen to music they like, where they could look at pictures of themselves and the funny stories about each of them. MY KIDS ROCK!!!

From left to right. K*'s easter basket (M* painted most of it for her), Then MJ's (the blue one with the eyes that look like fried eggs :)), Then M*'s is the white one with pink polka dots. And the furthest on the right is C* (the psychadelic looking one.) ;)

If you give your kid the camera part: 3
This time MJ wanted to take some pictures with my camera... so here they are...
This one is of K*. He adores her.
This one is of me... I think it looks a little weird because I look tall in this... and I am only 5'2. I guess that's how tall I look to him.
MJ took this of his brother, C*, doing home work.
And these are my favorites.... MJ told M* to smile for the camera.... and well... she smiled and then some. I was laughing so hard. This girl is hilarious!!
Batter's Up
Last weekend, M* was bored so she began to make her own little game. M* shaped a bat out of construction paper and crumpled up more paper to make a ball. She made it up all on her own and kept herself entertained for nearly 2 hours. Best thing about it is, she could play in the house and not worry about breaking anything. Thursday, April 9, 2009
Mongolian Grandmother
This is my neighbor, Beumpa (I'm not sure how to spell her name). She doesn't speak english and I don't speak Mongol... but we still have a great friendship even though we don't understand each other's language. She is so wonderful. She has no grandchildren of her own but if you saw the way she treats my kids you'd think they were hers. I love her!!My Messy House

C*'s Been Doodling
This kid CRACKS ME UP!!!!
Here is a picture C* drew of a homemade volcano... see the "huge box of baking soda" is being poured and then the "gallon of vinegar."
This is a picture C* drew of "Neal Armstrong's Wind Tunnel"....According to C* "These are two of the same scene... Neal Armstrong has just invented the wind tunnel when his mom walks in the room and it blows her coat off and knocks her over!"
According to C*.... "This is a picture of Teacher's having a party in the Teachers Lounge...They are all laughing, one teacher is standing on a chair doubled over because she's laughing so hard. There is a sink in the Teacher's Lounge with some half eaten gallons of ice cream next to it and there are cakes on the tables. There are children just outside the Lounge daring each other to enter and reading the sign that says 'Staff Only.'"Thursday, April 2, 2009
