What are boys made of ?...

I never believed that old poem, "What are Little Boys Made of"... you know the one that says, "snakes and snails and puppy dog tails"... But now after I've had a couple of boys of my own... I think there might actually be some truth to that old poem.
And NO, this was not taken anywhere near Halloween!

Halloween

We had a trunk-or-treat at our church where the kids dressed up and got candy as they went door to door in a little cardboard village made by the Elder's Quorum.
Child #1 was dressed up as a newsboy.

Child #2 was dressed as a mummy.

#3 wanted to be a ghost.

...and #4 of course wanted to be a princess.

Fun pumkin carving.

Little Viking

My 5yr. old loves to dress up with whatever he can get his hands on. Here he said he is pretending to be a viking.

Wild West

It's always wild at my house!... Yes she's holding a gun but I don't think this girl could ever look threatening.

Ordinary Things

Yes that is a leaf on the back of his head and holding it in place is a large rubber band. This is my 5yr. old pretending he's an Indian.... and that leaf is supposed to be a "feather." This must be a more modern "bow and arrow" this young Indian is using :)

Pretending to be pirates! AAAAARRRGGGG!!

Dress Up

These two are always playing "dress up". Here they have made their own crowns and jewelry out of paper and are using a pillow case and blanket for a royal robe.

Super Heros Wear Underwear

My son dresses up like a super hero every day. He makes his own costumes too. Check out the undies on the outside of his pants.... isn't that the way Superman does it?? Also sporting a pillow case cape and brandishing a weapon made of mega blocks!!
